Hi does any one run the thin top deck with the standard chassis and what are your thoughts on this combo. many thanks for any reply's |

I've been waiting a while for one to be in stock in the UK. ![]() Might have to just leave it for a while and fit the thinner chassis. Skiddins |

More mid corner steering, more steering response but more difficult to drive. |

Finally got my 1.6mm top deck and tried it at the West London circuit. Despite the track temp only being around 15degC. I managed to beat my previous personal best in 4 out of the 5 quali runs with it. The only place I think I noticed a difference straight away was around the 'D' which is a fast corner onto the straight, with the thinner top deck I could get on the power slightly sooner as it seemed to allow a little more on power steering. My car was easy to drive and seemed to have quite alot of steeering. Combined with some drag brake it was the best setup I have ever had on any car at that track. I won't be trying it indoors as I don't trust myself not to crash and break something. |
