Managed to get a second hand xray diff for my sons 008 car. Like an idiot did not think about anything else until I realised the car has 34 tooth pulleys. It does how ever have 20tooth centre pulleys. I also have a spare 38 tooth pulley for the front. Anyone know what belts I need to accomodate a 008 with 38tooth and 20tooth centre pulleys? Anything else I need? Thanks. |

I dont believe its possible to run the 1.9FDR on the T2-008. You either run 16t pulleys with 38t diffs or 20t pulleys with 34t diffs. The T2-009 was the only car that allowed for this upgrade with the forward motor mount kit. |

Nipped down to in the UK and was ready to go through a selection of belts. Thought I would start with the obvious. T3 front and rear belts. They fitted perfectly and did not have to put the belts on the tightest or weakest settings (room for adjustment) ![]() ![]() Job done. |

To be honest I have ran this combination of pulley since the 008 first came out because of the early problem of the pinion catching the belt. Originally I had to use 20T pulleys from an 05 and Front belt from another make and a rear belt from a different make again. Its great know you can get all the parts from Xray though. ![]() Still run my 008 at my local club with other current cars and still manage top 3. |
