I sanded the wheelbase shims with 600 grit sand paper, some people say undo the mounts and retight them to get the positioning right. But I thought the arms would bind if you had a slight hit, by sanding the shims even if the mounts moved in a crash they wouldn't bind. Just my thoughts.

Pushing the suspension arm towards the holder that would turn inside whilst tightening helps. Also cylinder head screws (M3 for 2.5mm allen screwdrivers) support the holders much better than the SH screws. In case of a bigger crash the toe setting stays in place.

Thank you for the feedback. The tapping of the arms to get the pins to align in the blocks was all it took.

Try the HUDY arm reamer (3mm).

Pull the arms towards the suspension holders while tightening the screws.

Hit the arms gently and horizontally with the bottom of your screwdriver until they move freely.

Last resort, in some very rare cases you will have to sand off the ends of your arms to be sure that they are not sitting too tightly between the suspension holders, or alternatively you can use a slightly smaller wheelbase shim either in the front or the rear of the arms.
