When raising suspension arm holer to raise the roll center, do you need raise the camber link by the same amount?. am i right by thinking that this would return the ic back when raising the rc. i notice that alex did this at one of the ETS meeting |

If you raise the inner camber link position, too, the RC is lowered again. If you raise the outer camber link position, too, the RC is lifted even more. Mounting the inner camber link position more outside also lifts the RC as well as using the inner position on the hub does. The more the IC is carried away from the car, the lower the RC is set. The IC always influences the RC. The difference between chosing the upper or the lower 'way' to set the RC is that in the lower 'way' the ride height setting could be countered. But of course the car would roll much less as the CG is closer to the RC. So the suspension geometry could remain the same with all the gains and declines during cornering and acceleration/braking while the RC could be changed nevertheless. |

by raising roll center on lower blocks do we get? -less roll -more responsive car(left to right) -more coner speed -more grip in directional change ?? |

Higher RC both front and rear: - on-throttle steering - chassis roll - grip - traction rolling + responsiveness + weight transfer at front I would say the car is more stable during chicanes with higher RC. The setting for getting the most possible corner speeds depends on the grip of the track a lot I would say. |
