what parts do I need, if I want to change from T3 2011 to 2012 low traction combo (301194+301133)

nothing just change.

Importnat is that if you want to keep same roll center high, you would need to add 0.5mm shim under each block that holds arms

Wouldn´t it be the same as before if you raise the ridehight with 0,5mm and you would be free of chassiescrubbing?

Would not using the 0.5mm shims lower roll centre and as such give you more overall grip anyway? Or am I incorrect?

Is anyone able to post exactly how many shims are used and in exactly what positions,seems everyone is doing a lot of guessing on this subject and is not very well explained for the average person.

Is it at all possible to use this chassis and top deck combo with the T3R?

Hss anyone tried either the 2.0mm chassis/1.6mm top deck, or both on medium grip asphalt?

I was just wondering why it is only recommended for low or high grip?

I would be careful and think through the whole 0.5mm adding shims to the suspension mounts.

the 2mm chassis, like the 2.5mm chassis has no recesses in it and the TOP side of the chassis is flat, so in relation to the top side of the chassis, the suspension mount geometry in relation to the bulkheads, upper mounts stays the same with both chassis, adding 0.5mm is going to start making the car handle differently.

The geometry changes mentioned are in reducing the ride height by 0.5mm to compensate the thinner chassis. the change would be the same is if you changed the ride height of your current 2.5mm chassis by 0.5mm.

when you go to another track that requires that allows you to run a lower ride height, do you adjust the suspension mounts to counter this ride height change? 99% of us probably wont, including myself, unless it suits the setup.

So I went with the just stick it on and run it approach, turns out its quite a good little part and will become my main chassis (mid-high grip outdoor, med/small & bumpy track).
