Hello guys, how do you level up the Ackermann setting if you change the front to rear weigh distribution by moving the suspension arms forwards or backwards on a T3 '11 and '12? Thanks in advance for your answers, Stefan |

If you want to use a longer wheelbase for example you have to use the same amount of shims on the ackerman setting to compensate for that. If you want to use a shorter wheelbase and you aren't using any shims for the ackerman setting then you might want to consider to machine the steering bridge. |

Blast looks like I might need to get the file out when I get the '12 on the track and no doubt shorten the wheelbase. Let's hope I will settle on an Ackerman with several shims ![]() |

Thank you for the replies. I know about the shims and was meaning if you made two more holes in the chassis to mount the steering posts more forward or backward to remain almost the same radii in the steering geometry. I'm asking because there's the possibility of mounting the steering post in two ways on the T3'10. Or is this just not necessary on the new steering system? Just out of interest. |
