You will reduce the advantage by having both inboard and outboard toe ? I am also intrested in the shock collars that lower the suspension, something i wish xray had done too or am i missing something .. ? |

However, Peter a combination of both a hub and the normal toe in setting on the rear, will give half feeling of what you may want from the new hubs ... thats all. TeamGP is right. What i am merely saying is having a hub of 2deg and then setting the toe normally to give 1 deg to equal 3 deg in total is 2 deg out-board toe-in + 1 deg in-board toe-in. Are you sure you want the hubs ![]() |

I ran some simulation tests a while back on a setup board, recording camber changes in the front wheels with in-board toe-out and the readings came back showing that the camber changes were smoothed out on each wheel as it became loaded/unloaded with weight. I then tested the settings on the track and it did indeed provide very consistent and more stable steering as the car changed from corner entry to mid corner and on to corner exit. Here is the link where I "thoroughly" explained my test methods. Read through both pages if you can. http://www.teamxray.com/xforum/viewtopi ... sc&start=0 |
