i use the new version 2 spec r ecs front driveshafts on my xray t3 the problem is the wheel nuts keep coming loose ( never came loose on the original xray driveshafts )was told to use serrated wheel nuts i did this but after a few runs still came loose any one got any ideas how to stop the wheel nuts coming loose ? thanks

What wheels were these problems occurring on.

Since moving to serrated nuts a couple of years back I haven't had a single problem.

It doesn't matter what wheels do you use. I think the material of these driveshafts is not the same with xray's driveshafts (hudy spring steel) and with xray's wheel nuts. In my opinion, don't use aftermarket parts. You can always use the ECS driveshafts.

Yup I had the same problem – and I use XRAY ECS drives 8). You need serrated nuts but you need to realise there are serrated nuts and serrated nuts. I bought a set from a big brand name and they were hopeless. I proved this by holding two nuts together and turning them against each other; no grip whatsoever.

The best I ever had were from Poland I think and they were orange too :D but my online shop has been unable to get them for the past year. I am currently using Hot Bodies serrated nuts which come in blue, not as good as orange but acceptable :wink:, after the big name failure and so far they have been fine.
