will higher weight shock oil overheat tyres more than lower weigh on carpet? Running 40wt front and back using sorex 32 tyres.Finding that towards the end of the night once grip has come up, Tyres are overheating. Will lowering the weight of oil help this? ![]() |

Quick answer: no. Probably it is better to use a harder arb in the front or you use the traction compound for a shorter time in the front. If your shockoil is too hard, a softer oil can help against overheating. But then it will be probably also better when traction is low. If you post your setup completely you will probably get more tips what to improve... Regards David |
