what do you think about that? our bodyshells are quite soft and they vanish in many ways and I think we are losing some down force,am i right? is it worth? |

They are to prevent the rear part of the shell from "collapsing" under high speeds down the main straight. I have them but have noticed no difference in downforce effect at all. They just look cool and support the shell rather well. If you want to prevent downforce loss then don't use the rubbish lightweight wings that come with the lightweight shells, Use the standard weight wings ![]() |

Plus they limit how low you can get the body overall. |

My mate uses them, but only to stop his bodyshell from tucking up when he gets hit from behind. They're a great way of adding unnecessary weight up high and if you crash off backwards or get hit wrong it will pass any shock from the impact through the shock tower. Don't bother. Skiddins |

To be honest I can't see a big performance change in aerodynamics. However it will prevent the rear of your bodyshell from tugging into the wheels if crashed from behind. |
