Out of the two, I'd go with the 5500mah one. Prefer high mah ratings than massive C-ratings in Stock classes. Higher mah ratings means you keep peak voltage for longer. The new Orion 6500mah packs are very good. Might be worth considering. |

How come your taking into account the weight of the battery? Is it for balance purposes? If so, just add weight to any of your batteries that are lighter than your heaviest one ![]() Cheers Andrew |

Or just spend a bit extra and get Thunder Power |

Moore-Speed lipos are very good and provide excellent performance. 90C lipo.... hmmmmm ![]() I also wouldn't necessarily go for a huge high C rated Lipo. A higher C rating can mean it takes the Lipo longer to "warm" up internally especially in stock racing, which means a larger internal resistance = slower performance. I find around 50C is a good C rating |

I got the 90c Orion lipos and i feel the differance between these and the 60c lipos from Interlect i was running , they are both about the same age but the 90c has more GRUNT out of the corners , even in 0 timing class at ETS , and when i check my internal resistance the charger (thunder PowerTP820CD) it says 10ohms ,thats pretty low for a 90c lipo , the way i look at it is that the lipo will pack the same punch for longer with a larger C rating , correct me if i am wrong and i only ever use 2300 out of the pack in 0 timing races of 7 mins long so no where near the capacity of the pack Hope i make sense with this ![]() ![]() ![]() |
