Finally tried out the LTCR bodyshell, on asphalt. Well it is certainly different from the Mazda speed 6! Very agile, loads of turn in and no rear grip at all (into or out of the corners) makes it an exciting ride ![]() What have you guys done to tame it, or does it need a high grip track to perform? I am already pretty maxed out on setup to get sufficient rear end grip; 10.5, NG speedo, tight track Went back to the Speed 6 due to lack of time to get it sorted for big meeting this Sunday but it is certainly an interesting shell that I would like to spend some time trying to get sorted. |

Thanks guys, I will check the wing Andrew but we have regs on how far back the wing can be and I would normally be close to the limit so I may be stuck with what I have. To be clear, the car is planted with the Speed 6 shell but, as I said, all over the place with the LTCR. I had expected to maybe adjust the setup slightly with the change in shell but the difference has really surprised me! Thanks for your setup Stanley; in some respects we are not that different but I have an 009 so there are differences in your suspension geometry that I cannot map too - eg rear shims. I think we have different tracks too. Most people will run 13.5 with an FDR 7.0 to 8.0 at our track!! |

Its odd cause I run an LTC-R on my T3'11 and have bearly moved away from the kit setup. Could be time to update the chassis? ![]() Is the problem happening off power or on power? |

The LTCR naturally has more steering .. if you want something in between the Mazda Speed 6 and the LTCR, try the P37-R. I find that it is a nice balance between the two. It all depends on your track conditions and driving style of course. |
