Put a little bit of Oil/Grease just for lubrication and pinch a small piece of Gum about the size of your thumb nail squeeze it in and go racing. ...Ari |

Jilles Groskamp posted this on his rctech thread, I imagine the method is the same regardless of the chassis... I can advice to use small balls of gum and push it with a screwdriver anywhere it can go inside the geardiff. I normally use a little bit of shockoil with it. Hope this helps Jilles http://www.rctech.net/forum/9290775-post1642.html |

it is a tight gear diff ......... there is nothing else to understand , it has more steering but you dont seem to loose the power out pull you get with a spool |

i love my diff in the front with cleaning gum, makes the car much easier to drive. possibly very slightly slower over a single hot lap but much more consistent so quicker over the 5 minutes. my first meeting with it, qualified 2nd in the a, finished 1st, 5 other xrays in the a final all with spools! all sponsored drivers in the a final also! |

Hi, I had a good run the weekend using a Spec.R gear diff in the front with 500,000 oil (1000 in the rear). It felt good on long sweepers but the tighter corners it pushed more than a spool, does that mean it would be better if I used gum in it or a thicker oil ? Thanks. |

give 700 on rear and about 300,000 or 400,000 on front on rear it will give more turn into the corner same on front,it will give more turn in,but on the exit you will have a little bit of understeer |
