When using the recommended ball studs #302653, you cannot screw them totally into the new Upper Clamps. (the ball studs do not have threads all the way to the top) .. the result is you cannot run these with 0 shims which is totally unacceptable given the purpose of these items. Given the price of these items and Xray's reputation for fit and finish, has this been missed? The clamps should have been machined with this in mind. What is the solution for this issue without stripping out the threads? Do I have the 1st batch mistakes? |

Hi, You can screw them fully into the upper clamps. Only when you screw them first time, last two turns goes little harder, second time it would goes easier You will not stip the thread, no worry |
