Just purchased the new upper clamps...what am i going to expect when i add and remove shims from the bulkhead and on the outer hubs front and rear....something i normally suffer with is front end mid corner steering not having enough (understeer) Thanks |

they tell you what to expect in littlish detail what to expect from the bulkhead shim wise but not in comparison to outside arm...as in what to expect from a arm which is angled more or less and higher or lower...if this makes any sense lol |

the instruction manual explains what happens if you rise or lower the linkage - it has direct effect on car roll I think it is not important for racer to know by how many degrees the linkage changes, important for the racer is to understand what it makes to handling of the car |

Hi Martin...thanks for your reply in this thread...why would you want a car to roll more and what sort of track style is it more beneficial on? i know from my own experience if i have quite parallel arms the car is quite lazy and flat but stable...and when they are angled the car rotates faster but has less cornering grip mainly from the rear... Just want to understand this change as much as possible ![]() Thanks |
