XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi,

currently I am running LiPos with some noses on the bottom. These make them fit very good with tape in my T2'009.

But I want to change to new LiPos which doesn't have the noses on the bottom.
I am not very confident that the LiPo will hold only with tape.
So I wonder if I could use the 376130 Composite LiPo Battery Backstop in my T2'009 for the purpose. The original NiMH are not wide enough.
Does anyone have experience with this?

P.S.: I don't want to use 309860 Lipo Balancing Chassis Weights because I have the 301186 Graphite Pads for Lipo Set.

i'm driving with t3 '11 without batery backstops and bottom noses. With good tape battery stays at same position after crash and other race things. buy hudy reinforced tape if you 'll have problem. It's very good.

A friend of mine is driving T2 009 and he has glued with CA battery weights on the bottom of his batteries. So when he puts the battery on it`s place, the weights go in the holes, preventing the battery from sliding out of the chassis. Putting the battery tape over makes it impossible for the battery to come out by itself during driving.

3 Loops of tape around the chassie/battery. I tape mine across the deck twice and around the length once.
