Now that people have got used to the t3'11 after a winters racing, what's the consensus - is it a major, big, or minor improvement on the 008? I keep my 008 in good nick - and I'm an average driver - so I ain't gonna shell out unless there is a real and identifiable 'improvement' over my 008. |

Difficult question to answer. I found a big difference between the 008 and the '11 but thats me as a driver. What average means is so subjective. I'd recommend getting the '11, it is a very very nice chassis. Cheers Andrew |

I would class myself as an "average" driver (i.e. I am near the top of F2 TC in our club, but are generally beaten by a couple of laps in our F1 class). I have raced the 007, the 009 and now in the last month, the T3 2010 (not the 2011 - sorry !) I have been really surprised at how much better the T3 is over the 009 (which is similar to the 008 I gather) - much more "planted" and responsive. (I said the same about the 009 vs. the 007 !). My lap count has risen by 1-2 laps over the 5min race time with the T3, so is quite significant, and I got a PB last week, running 2nd in the F1 class. The car gives one a lot of confidence in that it goes where you want it to go and is very sensitive to steering inputs. I have been able to clip the apexes tighter and get on the throttle sooner. If anything, I am turning too soon now and clipping the barriers on entry because the turn-in is so good. Big thumbs up from me ![]() [T3 2010 / 13.5T Nosram Pure Evo / Tekin RS] Charles |

If you are average, then you will feel big difference between T2 008 and T3 011. More steering, traction ..... the development goes very quickly forward so the changes between cars are not minor and makes big difference on handling. Plus, T3 series is designed for electronics that is used in these days (brushless + lipo) |
