XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello, I am not a skilled driver and I will like to know a recomended setup for a low traction asphalt, during the week there aren't much drivers then there is a lot of dust in week-end.
The run direction is CCW, thanks for help.

I would suggest basic asphalt set up wit soft multi-flex setting. If you still have not enough traction, than put 3.5 toe in and put rollcenters for arms into bottom position

Hello, as I told you before, my advise to run in this circuit and usually traction conditions are:

- Use basic setup sheet for asphalt as a reference
- Use the softest multiflex setting
- Lower rear rollcenter - Remove shims on rear hubs
- Use inner shock tower positions (more inclined dampers)

I have changed the rear roll center putting it in lower position as you say and I see that now moving one arm, the roll-bar is unable to lift the other arm like before, is it normal? It's the same on both sides.

We have just started a new thread on the Anti-roll bars.
In my opinion they don't currently work due to some short comings in the specification of materials and/or deisgn.


2. High speed tarmac circuit - low to medium grip
Motor = 6.5T / for us there are two corners - leading into and out of the main straight that can be taken at full throttle.
So the cars are going bloody fast.
We have not tried any tyre treatment just normal 32R and they are glued.

We see problems with getting the T3'11 to handle - compared to a 3Racing chassis.

Issues
i) On thottle Understeer
ii) Tail stepping out on turn in - pre-apex (looks great when you catch it, but not the fastest way around the track)
iii) Dampers are a nightmare to get equal. We ended up drilling the top caps

Findings
Reviewing tyre wear - we now run 5deg camber front and 4 deg rear. Otherwise the wheel rims get worn down.
With this we can see the tyres show even wear across, and come up to temp quickly.
