Car: T3-2011 as per the kit, only upgrade is ECS front drive shafts. rubber tyres R36 Diff is fairly tight, if one holds the spur wheel and the right rear tyre, the left only just rotates with effort applied. Symptom: Under hard acceleration, the rear of the car initially pulls left (the the car steers to the right) Clearly visible that it's the rear is stepping sideways to the left. (left as when standing behind car). all joints are secure and car is setup on hudy bench so all equal and true. If I had to guess i would say the diff was slipping - but I think it's pretty tight. Cure: Any suggestions ? |

Check that the driveshafts etc have no binding. Also check the pivot pins at both ends of the wishbones are free and loose. If this is only happening some of the the time, it sounds like something is binding when under the extra stress of acelleration. I would also check that the diff appears to have the same tension on both sides. Skiddins |

Check if your car is tweaked. Uneven weight-distribution due to tweaked car is usually the reason for strange left to right behaviour. |

I shall check again the items mentioned and correct if needed. I'll post the result here in a few days Thanks. |

The answer was ..... the right rear shock seemed to be alot more softer/squishy than the left (springs removed) rebuilt it, and now seems similiar in feel to the left unit. We shall test shortly. |

Did it fix the problem? |

Yes it did. Although the ball diff and a 6.5T engine really don't get on well - it needs adjusting after every run. Swapped to a gear diff and it's now very consistent. We have now tested various setups on the same track - and will be posting news threads to kick off debate on some of the findings. |

Nice:). I had the same problem but that was cured by dropping the battery brace. I swicted to Hudy tape and that was it. I had to tighten the brace so much to keep the bat in place that it made the chassie tweak under power |
