i've just purchased the new car and i've just gone to swap my electrics over from my t3 and when i put the motor in the top deck stops the pinion getting close enough to the spur to mesh. both cars have 84 spur and i want to use a 19 pinion as on the t3 so i have a gear ration of 8.40. has anyone got any advice. |

is that the only way of doing it then? i dont want to cut my top deck unless i really have too. seems strange that the car has been built in a way that u can't use one of the most popular motors atm (GM) with out modifacation. |

You could go 64pitch with 115/26, that will probably get your motor further forward, but I'm not sure. |
