I ran the car for the first time here in the UK today at the Kick Energy winter series Very promising start, easy to drive and very consistent for 5 minutes. ![]() Xray Uk RC DISCO Speed Passion Moorespeed Ardent Racing |

Can any of the drivers who have used it please explain how far removed the setup was from the standard T3? Thanks Skiddins |

I'm looking at your setup, and wondering if you had any roll issues in the corners as the whole car seems very narrow in setup?? I wasn't there so I can't pass any judgement but wow it must have had a ton of steering. I don't think Ive ever run a car that narrow in the front, did you have to go to the shorter drive axles front and back as well or was there still no binding on up/down travel. Any idea what happened to Hagberg? Thought we'd see him be a bit of more challenger? Thanks for the input. |

Just noticed that you can't run the motor all the way back cos it hits the top deck. Dont really wont to file the top deck or have to space the motor out. guess i'll have to buy some more spur gears (64 dp) ![]() |

Savo, the most popular modify motors have big edge on the motor coat. Plus, stock racers are using ratios in which motor is far away from top deck. In the case that your motor has no edge, I would recommend to follow tech tip in the manual. It would not have any negative effect on car performance and you would not need to buy spur gears |

Thanks for the reply martin. The motor i'm using is a gm 13.5 star wind 2010. Just finished building it now and it went together perfectly ![]() |

Got my new 2011 Specs today. The car is soon ready to the track, need to tune motor, esc, amb, servo and battery to the car. There were no quality problems. ![]() Had to dremel the top deck for my motor (all motors don't have smooth edges) and also make the ball joint of the steering link thinner. It would hit the top deck otherwise. Is there some team preference how mount batteries? Battery wires to the front or to the back? I haven't checked weight balance in this car, the old one had the front right corner the lightest one. It is really nice that even with tall 25mm lipos, which have connectors in the corners, you can put your battery wires to back of the car if you want to! This couldn't be done with T3, 2011 has different top deck and you can also put wires through. Some recent setups have 0 shims in accerman, or some have 1. Maybe I'll try the car without any shims when I get to track. |
