I wish I had bought an xray t3 in the first place! I bought an MI4'LP which in the right hands is supposedly excellent - not mine unfortunately. I went and sold it and got a 008 second hand for £70 and spent about £40 on spares - none of which I have used yet. For the first time in ages I put a car down and it worked - leaving more to ponder my lack of skill than anything else. One question I do ponder is this: when a car become a bit looser at the back, and therefore more pointy, does it always invariably mean that the car is quicker, albeit more of a handful. That being the case, how does one then prevent losing the back end on corner entry? |

Hi Lohan, I'm no expert, but I would answer no to looser always equals faster. If you haven't already read this: It explains all different handling problems and how to tune them out. Also take a look at this, I would recommend you set the car up with basic rubber or carpet setup which you can find here: Drive with this setup until you get comfortable with the car, then you can start tuning it. |
