Hi, On the set up sheets, what does O ring on shaft mean ? is this the small O ring above the lower shock cap ? What does it do to the shocks if you leave the foam insert out ? Shims under the shocks, is this just at the top or bottom as well ? What's the difference between running the ackermann in postion 1 or 2, forward or back ? What do the coloured Xray springs corrospond to the black ones ? eg.yellow = 2.2 Thanks. |

it is on the outside of the shock yes , and it is round the shock shaft It stops the chasis plate hitting the carpet and grip rolling , That is what i was told and it worked for me last year ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for clearing that up, nice to know if I get this problem. I haven't tried carpet yet, that's one thing to look forward to this winter. |

Hi, Regarding the foam insert in the shock cap I read somewhere on here about when and when not to use. I know it gives you more rebound but would you use them more on carpet or on asphalt or the opposite ![]() Which way do you go for shock oil if the track is bumpy or lack of grip thinner or thicker, likewise if you race on carpet what's best thinner or thicker ![]() Thanks. |
