Post subject: | Rear droop problems on T2 008 |
Hi I have a T2 008 and are having problems getting droop movement on the rear of the car. At the moment i have no droop and the rear of the chassis is stiff, with the droop screws screwed out the rear chassis is still stiff. The rear shock oils have been changed aswell. I am running the car indoors on carpet using foam tyres . Any ideas ???? |

The rear shocks have had the oil changed using 40wt oil, same as i have always used and have about 15% rebound in them. I am using the 3rd hole up from the bottom of the tower. The front of the car has plenty of droop but none on the rear. |

Can you measure the front and rear shock lengths? Are you using adjustable pistons front and rear? |

I'd bet your shocks aren't long enough. Measure the length of the front vs rear shocks. The rear shocks will probably measure out shorter. Make the shocks all roughly the same lenght and start again. |

Both front and rear of the car are the same now, chassis stiff and can not get much droop on front or rear of the car. The shock shaft of both front and rear shocks are short, is there any longer ones that i can buy ? |

what ride height is your car at? do you have the shock ends screwed all the way in so there is no threads on the shock shaft showing? |
