XRAY - Model racing cars

Having had a disastrous weekend at Mendip I was wondering if anyone would care to share their most stable setup form there.

I know we aren't going back there anytime soon but it would be good to compare and see where I was going wrong.

My car would lose the rear through some of the corners and my attempts to solve this didn't seem to achieve much; softer oils/springs, changing rear toe etc.

For a change my car had great steering, probably too much.

If you give him a couple of days, Jonny Aird will post his set-up. I'll remind him when he comes in from work . But to start with I think one of the major things the team kept mentioning is how good the car is with the one hole rear uprights are, did you run those??

What sort of difference did you find the 1 hole rear uprights made?

That setup is almost identical to what I was running.

The 1 hole rear hubs made a huge difference to my car. I've tried them at Cotswolds and Ardent Raceway so far and each time they've been much better. Much more rear traction and better corner speed. I can't think of a reason to go back to the standard hub.
