I have posted a link to my setup from Sunday. Although pretty good, I am lacking what appears to be corner entry to mid corner grip, particularly at the front. Although my car is quick, I seem to have to to wait longer for the car to change direction and go through the corner before powering out. The fastest car there, an Mi4, just seems to be on rails compared to mine and it appears that the only real difference, apart from the driving, is the steering and corner speed through the corners. |

i moved my servo saver's quick ackerman adjuster fully forward and this sorted my steering issues i also needed to go to softer springs rear take a look at my set up |

I thought you were after more high speed steering? Skiddins |

have you tried different flex settings or stiffening up the rear? i find the stiffer settings help the car rotate more in the corners. |

Skiddins, from your set up, I would change following things to get better steering: Xray 350 oil 2.8 spring in the front, 2.6 spring in the rear use rear stands, and remove screws from layshaft bulkheads put 1mm shim between steering block and steering linkage lay down at least by one position rear shocks this would give you huge amount of steering |

Hey guys, please try rear stands on asphalt. When I was developing the car, I found them much faster. At my track by 0.2 sec. But remove screws from layshaft bulkheads |

yes. The layshaft is hold by plastic bushings under the top deck, so no problem |

Martin, Why would laying down the rear shock give him more steering? I thought as the shock becomes less perpendicular to the arm, the shock becomes softer and thus creates more grip? Thank you. |

Martin Hudy wrote: 'put 1mm shim between steering block and steering linkage' Could you explain this a bit more please? I've seen it on a few of the team drivers sheets and would like to know more about how I could use this as a tuning aid. Given I call the 'out board' a Hub then this 1mm would go under where steering link attach to the quick akerman post? many thanks in advance, its great to get help straight from the top!! |

I thought that was only required if there is a big change in toe in during suspension compression. What have you found 3mm gives you that 1mm or no shim does not. Skiddins |

I was told but Zdenko to add 3mm so i did and i wont take them out now i love it I tried the H roll centres tonight Dont use them in the rear they remove too much grip but i like them in the front with 1.5mm on top of the steering block/C hub |

I swapped to Alloy shocks with Corrally oil this is CS rated and not Wt added 2.0 camber all round H roll centres at the rear the car seems more stable and consistant Thats it really click the link to see a video of my mate Dennis and his Modified T2009 |
