Hi Guys, Just a quick one... Has anyone got any tips on building the Xray shocks?? I always seem to get a problem by either cross threading the shock body. and they always seem to leak.. HAs anyone used another Manufactuers Shocks?? Any tips would be mostly appreciated Phatty! |

Just build shocks way manual tells to do. If shocks leak you might wanna try older xray o-rings wich are red as fk has purple ones. Also remember use some oil in threads at first place. |

As in "ALL" screws, if U turn it backwards until U hear or feel the threads 'click' and then turn it in the correct direction, U will always find the threads will be aligned. Also, Ur opening up a real can-O-worms, askin' about shock theories. Do a forum search here and specify shock and/or building and U'll find all the info U kin stand, on that subject. |

I belive XRAY shocks to be one of the top two I've ever built. I base that on smoothness, consistency across multiple shocks, and durability. XRAY Shocks have leaked the least out of any manufacturer's for me. However, different people have different ways of building shocks, so who knows what you are going to hear. |
