I couldn't get Sorex tyres early enough for next week so I got Fastrax , tested them on the parking place and behavior is much better even though it's still sliding a bit but I have to try that on the race track. I have no idea of the hardness of those tyres. I ordered Sorex 28R, those are slick tyres and I expect they should be even better. I understood the lowest the track temperature, the lowest the number. |

I take it you were referring to track rather than ambient temperature. It is a difficult call because the track itself and your style will have an impact but I suspect you may find the wear rate with the Sorex 24s or CS22s to be to high and may well better off with Sorex 28s or similar. |

I finally use Sweep 36 which are the official tyres in the french 1/10th EP regulation. I think They are ok, track temperature was 24°C this evening and it went well after warm up. Off course it's far from being good since I'm still a beginer but I think the tyre choise is done for now. |
