Yes I would not close any holes, I cannot imagine the motor holding us to the xtra heat.... |

If your worried about getting crap inside your motor maybe you should think about changing to a sealed can like the Tekin motors. We have a couple of guys here locally who use these for the same reason but we run on a dusty outdoor track. |
