dway, if you put an 1mm shim under the wheels before mounting them it will make wider car, it has then 1mm offset.
normally a narrower front will make the car more agressiv.

well i got my fk05 and so for I am very pleased, very very pleased..... I tried to look back to see if this was answered but there are 40 paged of info and i'm not a young man lol.... I run on a very tight carpet track the straight away cant be more the 35 feet. Would the stock spur work or should i try a different one , and i need to buy a bunch of 48 pitch pinion's for the spur, from what to what should i buy. thanks a bunch ALBERTO

I also got my fk05 and started my build at 12 last night, about half way through and i think John has hit the nail on the head. The plastic parts that hold the pivot pins are most probably orientated to hold the pivot pin above the level of the screw holders. As they are you should swap left to right or front to back to get the holders down, double check the orientation in the manual I had a similar strange thing happen with something being back to front my self it was the rear axel carrier Made the camber a serious negative !

Hi Xray Team,

I've got the new kit yesterday and I'm very happy with it.
It is obvious that I cannot start with Gilles "basic" setup since the XRC chassis and the topdeck, 4.5 degree Chub and the Hard suspension parts are not available yet.
I decided to use the setup anyway but I use 3 degree C-hub and lower arms in the holes #3 and #4 (paralell to the chassis), the standard susp holder and the medium suspension parts.
What other things do you recommend to change for carpet/foam?
