All-new 2008----------------------------- XRAY T2'008

I fitted an Orion 3200 Lipo on my 008, but to make sure it did not slide about I fitted a stick battery bar off another make of car,used existing holes in the chassis and with the battery strap the Lipo fits perfect.
On my 05 I used the 4 corner battery holder just filed the radius off but on the 008 it is mot possible to fit these.
I was lucky to have on of these but cant under stand why manufactuers of kits dont supply things like this when they are designed to be used with differant type of cells ?

Question to someone from XRAY :

Do you think there will be any chance of XRAY making longer belts available for the 008, so that the 20T Layshaft pulleys can be used to allow EU 008 owners an option if they run stock. Plus as a bonus it would push the belt away from the pinion.

I wouldn't worry about the belt rubbing, on mine at least it only rubs a little bit after 30mins. My Phi loses half its belt after 5mins.

Ran my 008 twice this week end done about 40 minutes of run time. Batteries now seem clear at last. Belts is wearing on the pinions though.

Will the Standard belt not fit with the 20T holders is you slacken it off on the tension setting. :?:
