am struggling with my T3 on a low grip asphalt surface

the car is pushing the front only on a fast left turn onto the straight this makes me come off the throttle onto our 70m straight , this costs me about 2 car lengths by the end of the straight

i have tried various things softer springs less front droop , thicker oil , altering the roll centres and a few other things

the only thing that made it better was new tyres but as soon as i have used them twice the affect of them being new has worn off

please see if you can help me out paul

this is my set up :-

Hi Phil, im not totally sure if this will help you in your situation but here is what i would try.

i think that sliding forward the servo saver could help with overall steering,
also i find that my car has more initial steering when i run no rear sway bar.
the set up looks fine, the wheel base wasn't filled in but shorter rear wheelbase will also give the car more steering.

Thanks, paul

Hi Paul,

I'm running at T3 EU on carpet (not proper RC racing carpet but nylon tiles). For the most part the car is very good however it tends to throw the tail out on tight hairpin corners, I shortened the wheel base at the rear and this helped however the problem persists. I suspect I need to fit a front Diff.

Here's my setup:
xform/index.php?act=edit&ID=1441&setup=t3

What do you think?

Paul, Talking about weight Balance. I have to add 70 grams of lead to balance my car at our race weight of 1425 grams. I have on the battery side 35 fr 25 rear and also 10 additional grams behind the motor. I did this thinking i would balance my additional weight evenly front to rear. What effect would you expect if you moved the weight all front or all rear?

Hi. if you put the weight more forward you should feel that the car will be easier to drive, more stable, and have less steering.

Yes, I tried it and car was more stable with red rear and blue front. On power steering was noticably reduced and i also suffered corner entry front grip. :? Maybe this is also something about weight transfer? My first thoughts were a much harder rear spring kept more weight on front, and that helped for transferring more weight to rear when acceleration. I dont know, confusing thing...

Maybe there is a kickback on this adjustment?

I also want to ask, what would you change on your nt1 when you run on a track which as very low traction like a parking lot?
