Went back to the track yesterday to test for the big meeting there next week.
This time I was running Open Mod so handling wasn't going to be the same anyway. I managed to get more steering by a combination of things, front gear diff (2.5million) and 7k rear diff among them. I also ended up with 1.5mm on the rear upper link. I didn't change the front upper link as I raised the front wishbones slightly up and in (but still keeping sweep and anti-dive)
I used the steering plate which did help
Changed all shocks to PSS with 500 (which did make the car more stable without effect steering etc. I was using Reflex Racing springs instead of the Xray (RSD Green (progressive) F and Light Blue (Linear) R). I normally find these springs a little more docile than Xray's progressives, which I think is better suited to Mod.
I also ended up running a Montech Nazda 4 bodyshell, which is the most aggressive body I have.
Running Mod instead of 13.5 this time, traction was more of an issue so I might try going back to low diffs. I also want to try a 1.6mm top deck as well as a couple more of your suggestions.
For the big meeting they'll coat the track, so that might cure some of the traction issues.
