XRAY - Model racing cars

I don't change them unless the car is handling badly. Mostly however I have found that a little bit of slop tends to settle the car down and make it easier to drive. Only at world class level will slop become an issue as it may cost you that last 0.1s a lap needed to make the A. I for one am not at that level.

BTW, more slop also means less issues with binding which in many cases is the reason a car handles badly.

instead of using orings on the ball ends, i use a rubberband on the steering. Stretch it across the car between the ballends on the steeringblocks. It will take out all the slop in the steering, but it wont bind it either.

Hey, Sorry for the dumb question but I have a hitec hs-625mg servo for my T2 but I cannot seem to find the right servo horn for a hitec servo. All the horns have either too many splines or to little. Please help me

I just put together the T2 and I thought I'd share one trick to help with anybody who has problems with their lower arms not moving freely. As we all know we should not have any stiction with the arms and it should pivot completely stiction free from the hingepin. When lifted up it should drop back down from it's own weight or you are guaranteed to have trouble on the track.
The reason is that there is a chance that when you lock the lower hinge pin blocks(roll center blocks), you might twist it that it binds the lower arm.

Solution: Apply pressure to the arms toward the block while locking in the blocks to the alu bulkhead. Do the same with all the blocks.
You will find that now it's butter smooth. Cheers!
