Hi Joep,

I think your setup from Velp will be a good starting point as the corners in Apeldoorn have a similar feel to those in Velp. The track is a bit faster and more open though so expect to make some adjustments. The fast flowing semi-technical nature of the track won't suit Vesa's setup to well I think as it seems to be geared more towards a tight technical circuit.

Did my first run with the FK'05 at the AMCA track.
And the FK'05 was super and the AMCA track was nice.
The setup from EVMC was a good starting point.
After I started to understand the track: I wished a little more steering corner entry, but suddenly it was 5 o'clock and the track was closed down.

I was planning to change ackerman (1 pos. to the front front on steering arm) and put the front shocks 1 pos. more to the outside.
But that's postponed to the next visit.

Tomorrow again a day at our hometrack....

BTW Tony,

I ran without the 2 front outside posts under the upper deck.

2 Questions:

1. Did u2?
2. Where do u place the bal. weights if u use them?

Hi Joep,

No I run with the posts. It seems to give slightly more steering that way.

The weights are placed as follows:
- Front under belt thin 10g long weight using carpet tape (very thin double sided tape)
- Behind that just in front of the spur under the front belt the 25g long weight using carpet tape
- Then slightly right of center under layshaft round 10g weight using screw
- And to either side close to rear bulkheads another two 10g round weights using screws.

I did a lot of practice and a lot of changes to my setup.

Best time until now is 17.001 sec on EVMC and 18 rounds in 5 min. - 06 sec.
