XRAY - Model racing cars

I have a few thing that i might be doing wrong, first i always see the droop on most of the setup at front 2mm and rear 6mm, what i want to know is to get the droop at that setting where do you set the downstop? what i do is front downstop would be 1mm and rear 1mm under the screws is that enough or should i add more downstop?.

A spool on carpet? i should try that, i did for rubber outdoor but carpet i went with two diff.

Thanks Guys, what i will do is trial and error, then i will know what the difference is, but so time consuming, later.
