XRAY - Model racing cars

When changing setups I notice that the screws that attach the suspension holders to the bulkheads have a bit of aluminum dust on the threads that were inside the bulkhead. Evidently the screws are cutting into the alu a little.

I try to avoid this now, by centering the screws in their holes, but it seems likely that you get less tweak in the suspension holders by pushing the screws in some consistent direction as you tighten them, e.g. push them all toward the top of the car.

XRay could easily eliminate the issue by not threading that portion of the 10mm and 12mm buttonhead screws. All other uses of 10mm and 12mm buttonhead screws (kingpins, camber links, steering/servo links) are compatible with such partial threading, so XRay would not need to offer two types of screws. Just make this a running change at the next opportunity.

Sailfish... I'm guessing it's because they haven't finished entering it yet. Just a guess though. Or maybe it's super top secret and they don't want anyone using it to beat them with at Vegas.

Noline... Enter a setup sheet and post a link. That way we can see what you are running for a setup and make suggestions based on that. If your car is "hooking" left AND right then it's not likely caused by tweak alone. A car that is tweaked will usually only exhibit the problem when turning in one direction. It sounds almost like your getting too little rear traction AND too much front traction when you accelerate out of the turn.

I thoguth I read something a back about 1.5deg composit castor blocks, does any body have the part #?

hi guys we are converting to 1/10 from 1/8 nitro for the winter indoor series , we have never used electric before so it will be fun ...i am putting together a spares pack at the minute and apart from the usual stuff like arms, pins etc does anything else come to mind ....
also i noticed that you guys use the weights for the chassis is this important ,do i need them , our cars at the min are as they came out of the box will i require any of the option parts and last but not least i notice all the setups are for carpet or asphalt any one got one for a polished wooden floor like in a school gym ..

I just want to say thank you XRAY FOR the 05 kit, I had the FT04 kit and though the 05 would be a few hopup and that it, until i tried a friend 05 and after trying it the next day i went and got the 05kit that car is off the hook, outdoor indoor the car is just awesome.

I have a question about the Xray T1 FK '05 my car pushes when Im entering the turns what should I do to fix that I need more steering entering the turn here is my setup:
