Hi there
What is the best lube for what lube for drive shaft CV's (the swivel joint in the hub)
Grease only really seems to coat the outside, not getting into the moving parts

i mxed a little oil and graphite grease for the insides then i wrap my ECS' in shrink wrap it stops the grease coming out a little , sand and dirt getting in and if the pin comes loose then the wrap will keep it in one piece till the end of the race

I noticed in previous pics from big races that lots of the team guys use Wurth brake and contact cleaner, they also make another product called HHS2000, its a lubricant for a lot of different items, the nice thing about this stuff is that it uses a carrier agent to penetrate the item your trying to lube and then it evaporates and lease a thin grease in its place. The stuff has worked very well for my ECS's so far, you don't have to take them apart or remove the shrink wrap and the stuff has good cling so it doesn't throw off. The down side is its pretty expensive but a car should last you several years.
