XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi, has anyone tried the xray 009 EU ashpalt top decks (not just the main asphalt top deck, but the rear asphalt top deck as well) for indoors. I'm lacking overall grip on a low/medium grip indoor track and want to try it. Can anyone give me a good idea if its worth using both decks, rather than just the main asphalt deck and the standard EU rear deck? Thanks

if you want to get the most flew possible and dont care about looks, get a FRP set that they made for the cheaper budget version, this will have more flex compared to the carbon topdeck

so you have the carpet upper deck at the moment im guessing??, you tried the FRP and was to much flex for what you wanted, well then the EU will should work as its in between those two.

i would have thought the FRP with all the stiffening screws would have gotten it about right.

Thats right, i've used the T2R chassis and top deck but it slows down too much in the corner, presumably because it has so much bite on carpet. I was just hoping someone out there had used the EU asphalt decks (both front and rear) on carpet and if they've noticed a difference in overal grip, as I do like the feeling of having the rear absolutely planted.

Car was immense. I ran asphalt decks front and rear and the car felt like it had a lot more side bite. Got a lot closer to the two fastest drivers at my club on a technical carpet medium grip layout. Improved by half a lap.
