Do not use the Tekin if it is not Ni-mh updated, it will overcharge them trying to achieve the Ni-cd peak cutoff. Ni-cd peak with a .3 volt drop and ni-mh peak about .1 volt drop

Do not run the battery all the way down in the car if possible. Leave the charge in the pack until ready for next charge. You run the risk of reverse voltage if the sit at 0v

At next charge discharge the pack at 20amp (duratrak discharger $40 usd) to about .9 per cell. let pack cool about 10-15 minutes and then charge on Ni-Mh capable charger at 6 amps. might as well always treat the pack the same, it will never see a little load of 2 or 3 amps in the car, as long as heat / cooling is managed it does not hurt. People who say Ni-mh have no memory trend only see half the picture, while it may not effect the next few runs, over time it does effect the cells consistentcy and overall life span. I've seen this when rematching mine and others cells.

if storing the pack for more than 2 weeks you will probably need to put more charge into the pack since they loose voltage sitting on the shelf and they don't like to low for very long.

The IB cells are especially bad about loosing voltage.
the EP cells are real sensitive to charging too soon after discharging with-out cooling off, they tend to false peak.
