XRAY - Model racing cars

i suppose this question is mainly aimed at the team drivers, but on average how much faster a lap in the new 007 compared to the T1 05, i am hoping to upgrade and probably will but i wanted to know because im beating all the T2's in the A's.

hey i was in the same situation as you are i was beating many other drivers with the t2 but i found tht with a really gd setup the fk05 is gr8 but one down fall i could never cure was how much corner speed my car could carry nd not scrub off.

i had my fk05 for 1yr nd half and i found it to be a great car. but the new t2'007 is one awesome cars everything is so much easier to adjust and change at the track side so it makes competitions so much more fun .

Well, most team drivers reported improvements of about 0.2s looking at their fastest laps on their home tracks when they switched to the T2. The T2'007 is a little bit faster still but most importantly also easier to drive whence more consistent than the T2.

My guess would be the difference is about 0.3s assuming both cars are setup as good as we can get them. Having said that though, these numbers are for low to medium grip circumstances which is what you mostly have during practice. At major events the grip comes up and will usually be in the medium to high range where I expect the difference to be smaller (0.1-0.2s). All in all that means the 05 is still a seriously fast car!
