As a beginner I found out the hard way that Alu C-hubs (the caster blocks to be specific) are vunerable to impact. And that they are expensive
I've been able to change the caster angle of 2 sets within 5 testdays with +/- 1 degree.
Yes yes yes I know .... drive more carefull. But I'm 'speed'-learner, seeking allways the bounderies.
I'm considering to change over to composite ones. Mainly to cut cost.
My two questions are:
1) Can I use composite caster blocks and alu steering blocks or do I have to go to composite steering blocks too?
2) Whats is the difference in handling etc. between composite and alu C-hubs?
BTW: The alu set was on the (2nd hand) car when I bought it..
Thanks in advance for any help.
