XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello. I have a question about the length of the camber links of my T4. I use a setup station to precisely measure the camber.When the station shows equal angles left to right, the actual length of the links is not the same. The biggest difference I measured is around 0.5mm. Does anyone have this problem or this is normal? I presume that I didn't screw perfectly horizontally the plastic ends of the link so maybe the error comes from there but I am not sure. I also would like to know if you even check the length of the links after you adjust the desired camber on the setup station or you just leave it as it is without checking. Thanks in advance!

Others may disagree but I personally don't worry too much about the length of the camber links. Mine are usually off probably 1/4 to 1/2 turn each side IIRC. I think if you are about 0.5mm off that is fine. The only time I really worry about the link length is on the steering links. I do make an effort to keep them within 0.1mm of each other at all times. You may want to make sure there are no mold flashings on the ballcups that are giving you a false reading. Just remove them carefully with a sharp xacto.
