XRAY - Model racing cars

Hey guys, do you need the use the pss in front and rear or can you also only use them in front? Cause some setup sheets indicate they use 2.5-2.8 in front and 2.5 in rear. But is it a std shock or pss then in the rear?

We sometimes use the progressive 2.5-2.8 spring in the front, but we always use the pss shocks or std shocks as a set rather than a pair.
