too much roll, not enough ride height ?

I run a Tekin Gen 2 motors and it gets scraped, the TeamWave & TP motors have a different can design and they don't scrape the ground.
But indoors ride height 5mm (min allowed) outdoors depends on track but it can be anything from 5.5mm to7mm depending how smooth they are or the characteristics of the corners (thinking Aldershot for one with their sweeper lol!)

That's not a problem, it's normal outdoors. Every car does it.

Just put a strip of battery tape along the chassis before each meeting to protect it under the motor area.

something i do to stop the chassis from rubbing is to shoe goo a thin strip of lexan cut from left over bodyshells as the lexan wears just pull it off and stick on a fresh piece,no chassis damage at all,i find tape to wear within 5 mins so doesnt protect as well, this more out of necessity as i race at aldershot
imagine how much carbon has been scraped away by the aldershot sweeper over the years, whole cars have disapeared, lol

Motor/chassis touching the asphalt and getting messed up is unavoidable

Yup! Mine too :D but not on the carbon, just the motor can and also only on the motor side
Perhaps to put something underneath on that area is a good solution
