T4'14 Steering rack height?

Has anyone tested raising the steering rack on the T4'14. I recall it was the hot stuff with the 2013 car. What does it do? When and why would I want to raise the steering rack vs. lower/add shim to the steering knuckle?

More bumpsteer shims gives smoother entry and more mid corner.

Raising the entire steering under the steering posts changes the flex characteristics of the steering which makes the car easier to drive. This is a nice tuning option for high grip carpet.

To raise the steering assembly do you simply put shims under the black posts?
