Sorex 28jb to Ride REX30 differences?

I have run Sorex for so long I have a setup I am happy with on all cars T2 009, T3 12 and T4 14, however a small local club has a few drivers that still insist on using foams, CS27s/22s, Sorex 24s etc so trying to get info together to get people onto a standard (control tyre) the Sorex's just are "too expensive". So looking at running the rides to get a comparison slightly cheaper, so just after your findings, I have heard/read Sorex setups can have grip roll on Rides.

Why not use Sorex 32? they might not give quite as much grip as 28 but will last for ages so work out loads cheaper

The problem is mixed carpet surface so good and bad grip area's, overall I believe medium grip, 32's will just exaggerate it and thus why people still using foams/24s instead of reaching a good setup. I've assisted with some good setups on a BD5 and a 416X on rubber tyres but when they only get a few good meetings out of new tyres I'm sure the foams will creep back in. Hence the slightly cheaper option but also a current control tyre
