Hi,

Has anyone tried shortening the front wheelbase on the t4 14. I was wondering what this would do to the handling?

it will put more weight on the front and therefore should give more front grip

Thanks for the reply, tempted to try this as my car generally needs more middle to exit steering!

Matt, set it up with arm sweep, the 0.5 centerline inner pivot mount on the fr should do the trick, that's what I did with mine, I went for the narrower option

Thanks, i'm actually already running the arm sweep as you suggested although was tempted to add more. You don't see many people have more than 0.5 arm sweep though. I'm also running 0mm Ackerman, 2mm bump steer, all the shocks in hole 2, 1.3 rear rollbar and 3000 gear diff oil to try and get more rotation and steering middle to exit. The next thing to try is a shorter front wheelbase and maybe even narrowing the front track.

you say you have arm sweep but how have you gone about it,0.5 mm on the ff or fr?
im almost the same as you, only im on 1mm bumpsteer and rear shock hole 3 fr 2
how many mm shims are you using on the camber links?
for more rotation try 2000 in the rear diff

The car will feel more responsive and will be harder to drive in a straight line. Have in mind that you also increase the ackerman angle.
