has anybody used the closed layshaft mounts and how did the car perform??

They are fine.

Work exactly the same as the kit items, but now you can remove all the screws.

1Issue with running all 4 screws out is, where the top deck fins out just in front of the forward screws of the 4 it makes it weaker and can split it! I think it was from a front collision and the fact it can flex a lot more like a banana and just split it!!!

I raised the top deck 1mm when using the new layshaft holders. Stops the bulkheads interfering with the topdeck when twisting.

Raising the top deck increased flex by a tiny bit.
I found a good improvement in grip and consistency in the car everywhere.
I do run on very low traction asphalt.
