Hi,

I have problems with T4 chassis plates, I checked tweak when they are just out of the box and the first one I got with my T4 was tweaked so I ordered to "T3 shop" in Germany ( I leave in France) a second chassis plate and it is worse!
I look on a glass and the middle rises of 0,5mm and the rear left of 0,5mm too, rear right is 0,2mm heightened.

So is it normal please? I don't think so...

what to do is such cases please?

I had the same problem. I phoned the UK distributor who said it's very rare and they have only had a few new chassis being twisted. I sent him some pictures of the condition to show I hadn't written it off at the end of the straight. After they got it they confirmed I had a twisted chassis and sent me out a replacement free of charge.

I had the same thing, I put the chassis on a flat glass and if I press down underneath the battery it would rise the opposing side a lot. Also the back of my chassis wasnt touching the glass at all lol.

Interesting, this subject, about new chassis plates, has appeared on the forum 2 or 3 times in the past couple of months and and I do not really recall this ever having come up before in my time on the forum, which will be 5 years or so.

Maybe the manufacturing process has changed??

Even the second chassis that RcDisco sent me had the slightest of tweak but I got rid of it by pressing down on the shock towers while doing the top deck up.

It's strange for sure.

I only saw two bent chassis plates in the last 8 years. One time it had to be sent back as it clearly wasn't right from the factory. One time I could bend it to be straight with my hands. Don't ask me why but in some cases this will work.

My first chassis plate was a little bit tweaked, but I didn't know if it was originally tweaked or if it has been tweaked in a crash.
I bought a new one and it seems to be perfectly flat.
